Anyuan Pipeline Company conducts emergency drills for heat stroke

In the hot summer, while actively carrying out safety production month activities, how to deal with high temperature weather and improve emergency response capabilities has become an important issue for enterprise safety production. On June 24, Anyuan Pipeline Company carried out an emergency drill for heatstroke and invited professional medical staff from Pingkuang General Hospital to provide on-site emergency rescue guidance. More than 30 people from the company’s management, safety officers and front-line teams participated.

Before the start of the drill, doctors from Pingkuang General Hospital gave a lecture in the classroom of the production workshop, focusing on knowledge about heatstroke prevention and cooling in summer, emergency treatment of heat stroke, general trauma treatment, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and artificial respiration. The teaching process takes the form of explanation, on-site demonstration, and employee experience, allowing employees to master the basic first aid methods in a short time through observation and practice, and good results have been achieved.

With an order from the on-site commander, the emergency drill for heatstroke prevention officially began. The exercise simulates an operator with heatstroke. When other members of the team find out, they immediately call the production workshop director. The emergency rescue team at the scene moved the heatstroke personnel to a cool and ventilated place, and performed a series of simple heatstroke first aids such as fan cooling, feeding Huoxiang Zhengqi water, and wiping the whole body with water, and contacted the doctor for treatment according to the degree of heatstroke. .

Everyone said that through actual combat exercises, they have learned and mastered how to effectively prevent heatstroke and on-site emergency treatment, strengthened emergency handling capabilities and self-rescue and mutual rescue capabilities, and improved the safety awareness of all personnel. The orderly organization of rescue work and the reduction of personal injuries laid the foundation.
